You must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo service at White Rabbit Studios.
Cosmetic tattooing, also referred to as semi-permanent makeup or micropigmentation, is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of tiny, sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of hair strokes, makeup, or to enhance the natural features of the face.
Discomfort should be minimal and varies by cosmetic tattoo procedure. AN effective topical anesthetic cream and gel are used for numbing before and during your procedure. However, pain tolerance varies from client to client. Receiving the procedure during your menstrual cycle may increase sensitivity. If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the treatment will not last as long.
Cosmetic tattoo treatments will fade over time and may need to be refreshed every 1-2 years. The pigments are designed to fade over time naturally. Factors such as skin type, iron deficiency, lifestyle, and sun exposure can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. Multiple sessions are normal for cosmetic tattoo procedures, with each new procedure requiring a minimum of 2 visits. With proper aftercare the tattoo should last approximately 18-24 months. Please note that final results CANNOT be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates.
Like any tattoo, swelling and redness is unavoidable. You may experience an intensified vibrancy from the pigment causing a temporary darkness to your brows. As they heal, the swelling will desist, the vibrancy will settle, and the colour will restore to a natural finish. For best results, please follow the detailed aftercare instructions linked here.
All our artists are licensed, certified, and insured. Each artist has completed a hands-on apprenticeship and received certification from a permanent makeup and tattoo artist as well as certification in Blood Borne Pathogens by Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Our artists are trained in all the newest application techniques and trends so you will always find something that suits your needs. White Rabbit Studios is licensed to tattoo by Texas State Board of Health.
Our prices vary by artist and procedure. Please refer to our pricing page for the cost.
The best results generally come from a two step process. Touch ups allow us to analyze how the color regenerates beneath the skin and add in areas that may have healed incorrectly. Healed results are unique to each client and we do our best to create a consistent experience. Touch ups are beneficial for color restoration, shape correction, and/or any fine tuning the client desires and are highly recommended.
You must be 18+ to receive a service at White Rabbit Studios. As a safety precaution, we refrain from working on individuals who are pregnant or nursing. If you have previously microbladed eyebrows by another artist, we do require a visual consultation via email ([email protected]) before you are eligible to book an appointment. This is to ensure expectations and achievable results coincide with one another. If you are diabetic, you must insure your diabetes is well controlled. High blood sugar levels can complicate the healing process. We also refrain from working on individuals who are going through chemotherapy because they are at higher risks of bleeding and infection.
Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that uses a specialized tool to create thin, hair-like strokes on the epidermis layer of the skin.
Nano brows is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that uses a single needle tattoo machine to create thin, hair-like strokes on the epidermis layer of the skin. This technique can help to add density to existing eyebrow hair or create a completely natural-looking set of eyebrows for those who experience partial or complete hair loss.
Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that uses a single needle tattoo machine to create a delicate wash of color over the lip area.
Our Cosmetic Tattoo Pigments are safe to use and are created to slowly fade over time. The pigments we use do not contain organic material (i.e. vegetables) as these have a higher risk of causing allergic reactions. We use only the highest quality of FDA approved ingredients as well as disposable sterile needles. What’s even better is that our pigments are 100% vegan/cruelty-free and free of heavy metals.
